Product Warranty

Each company that we deal with has a different warranty policy, so it would be impossible to cover every one of them here, but this is a brief description of most of their general policies. Almost all warranties are given to the original purchaser only and are not transferable. LIFETIME WARRANTIES - Most of the shocks and most of the suspension kits we sell have lifetime warranties. This usually covers most problems incurred during normal use.  Accidents, crashes, and abuse are NOT covered and must be determined by the manufacturer. Bushings and paint are usually NOT covered. Most lifetime warrantied merchandise is replaced free of charge, but shipping charges are NOT covered and are the customer's responsibility. TIRE WARRANTIES - Most of the tires that we carry are classified as OFF-ROAD type tires and none of them have a road hazard warranty from the manufacturer. A tire warranty will cover defects in the tire such as separations, broken belts, and cracking. Cuts, holes, tears, and punctures are not covered. Ride disturbances are only covered within the first 10% of the tread life. Tires are usually pro-rated for the amount of wear on the tires, meaning that if a tire fails and you have 1/4 of the tire worn off, you pay for only 1/4 of the price of a new tire. Alignment wear, cuts, road hazard damage, wear caused by defective shocks or other mechanical problems are NOT covered. Shipping, mounting, and balancing charges are NOT covered by most of the tire manufacturers. OTHER WARRANTIES - Some products have limited warranties such as 1 year, 2 year, etc. The original invoice for proof of purchase is needed in these cases. Once again, shipping and any other costs incurred getting the mechandise returned are NOT covered. NATIONAL TIRE & WHEEL values you as a customer. Sometimes, due to unfortunate circumstances, problems happen that are not covered by the manufacturers' warranties. Even though we don't manufacture the products ourself, we feel that we have a responsibility to our customers to help out if there are problems. So if a problem does arise that isn't covered by the manufacturer, let us know and we will try to do our best to help you. Your business is very important to us. Without you, we wouldn't be here.
