Returns, Warranties and Shipping Info

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unused and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. On returns that are not warranty related or a problem caused by us, you will be responsible for shipping both ways. On orders that were shipped free to you, the shipping charges that we incurred getting the product to you will be deducted from your credit. Tires or wheels that have been mounted and/or driven on are NOT returnable. Make sure that your installer test fits any wheel before mounting a tire on it. Any products that have been installed or not in original boxes or packaging will NOT be accepted.

All refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as originally made. Allow time for return paperwork to be completed and for your bank (if payment was made by credit card) to process the refund.

If you need to return an item, please call us at 1-800-391-1113 with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will instruct you on how to return items from your order.

Shipping

We can ship to all 50 states as well as Canada. Any shipping special offers apply to the lower 48 states only. For shipping rates to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, please call us at 304-233-7917. We can also ship to APO addresses but please realize that APO shipping has size and weight limits and any tire over a 31x10.50 cannot be shipped to an APO address.

Warranties

Each company that we deal with has a different warranty policy, so it would be impossible to cover every one of them here, but this is a brief description of most of their general policies. Almost all warranties are given to the original purchaser only and are not transferable.

LIFETIME WARRANTIES - Most of the shocks and most of the suspension kits we sell have lifetime warranties to the original purchaser and a copy of the invoice must be available. This usually covers most problems incurred during normal use.  Accidents, crashes, and abuse are NOT covered and must be determined by the manufacturer. Bushings and paint are usually NOT covered. Most lifetime warrantied merchandise is replaced free of charge, but shipping charges are NOT covered and are the customer's responsibility.

TIRE WARRANTIES - Most of the tires that we carry are classified as OFF-ROAD type tires and none of them have a road hazard warranty from the manufacturer. A tire warranty will cover defects in the tire such as separations, broken belts, and cracking. Cuts, holes, tears, and punctures are not covered. Ride disturbances are only covered within the first 10% of the tread life. Tires are usually pro-rated for the amount of wear on the tires, meaning that if a tire fails and you have 1/4 of the tire worn off, you pay for only 1/4 of the price of a new tire. Alignment wear, cuts, road hazard damage, wear caused by defective shocks or other mechanical problems are NOT covered. Shipping, mounting, and balancing charges are NOT covered by most of the tire manufacturers.

WHEEL WARRANTIES - Most wheels have a lifetime structural warranty that applies to the original purchaser. Wheel finish warranties vary by finish and manufacturer. All wheel finish warranties are against workmanship and defects only. Neglect and failure to maintain the wheel is NOT a defect and is not covered by any warranty. Chrome especially, must be well maintained by the customer. Pitting (from road salt, car washes and brake dust) is NOT covered under any warranty.

OTHER WARRANTIES - Some products have limited warranties such as 1 year, 2 year, etc. The original invoice for proof of purchase is needed in these cases. Once again, shipping and any other costs incurred getting the merchandise returned are NOT covered.

NATIONAL TIRE & WHEEL values you as a customer. Sometimes, due to unfortunate circumstances, problems happen that are not covered by the manufacturers' warranties. Even though we don't manufacture the products our self, we feel that we have a responsibility to our customers to help out if there are problems. So if a problem does arise that isn't covered by the manufacturer, let us know and we will try to do our best to help you.
