Interco Super Swamper Tires — The Complete Lineup
National Tire & Wheel has carried the largest selection of Interco Super Swamper tires online since 1986 — every model, in sizes from ~28″ trail tires to 44″ competition rubber. Swampers are the defining hardcore off-road tire, and picking the right one comes down to three things: which model, bias or radial, and the right size for your wheel and lift.
Which Super Swamper is right for you?
- TSL — the classic three-stage-lug tread that made the name. Best all-around hardcore trail tire.
- Bogger — the deepest, most aggressive TSL. Built for mud and competition; loud and proud on pavement.
- IROK (bias or radial) — the balanced trail tire: serious off-road bite with better road manners than a Bogger.
- Thornbird — directional trail tread with a distinctive look.
- Swamp Lite — lighter-duty and more street-friendly; a great daily-driven Swamper.
- LTB — light-truck bias for classic trucks and trail rigs.
- SX / SX2 — competition-bred bias tires, available in sticky compounds on select sizes.
- Cobalt M/T & Ground Hawg — Interco's modern radial mud-terrains for daily-driven trucks.
Also popular with Swamper fans: Gateway Buckshot Mudders and the Maxxis Buckshot II.
Bias-ply or radial?
The classic Swamper question. Bias-ply (TSL, Bogger, LTB, SX) is tough, self-cleaning and conforms beautifully aired-down — the hardcore mud and rock choice. Radials (IROK Radial, TSL Radial, Cobalt) ride smoother, run cooler and wear longer on the highway. Daily driver or tow rig: go radial. Trail rig or competition: bias. Full guide: bias-ply vs. radial off-road.
Sizing and wheel width
Every Swamper size has a recommended rim-width range, and running too narrow or too wide changes how the tire sits, wears and airs down. Tell us your tire size and we'll match the correct wheel width — or build a complete package and we pair them automatically, mounted and balanced free.
Super Swamper FAQ
What wheel width do I need for my Super Swampers?
Each size has a recommended rim-width range. Give us the tire size (like 35x12.50R15) and we'll match the correct wheel — or use the package builder and compatibility is handled for you.
Will Super Swampers fit my truck or Jeep?
Depends on year/make/model and lift. Popular fits include Jeep CJ/TJ/JK/JL, Ford F-150/F-250, Chevy/GMC 1500/2500 and Ram. Use the vehicle selector, and if anything looks questionable on your order we contact you before it ships.
Do they come mounted on wheels?
You can buy tires alone or build a complete wheel-and-tire package. Every package ships mounted, balanced and assembled — mount and balance always free — so it bolts on out of the box.
Are Super Swampers street legal / good on the road?
Model-dependent. Boggers are an aggressive mud/competition tread — loud, happiest off-road. For better pavement manners look at the radial TSL, IROK Radial or Cobalt. All are DOT-approved unless listed as a competition tire.
Bias or radial Super Swampers?
Bias for hardcore mud/rock and competition; radial for anything daily-driven or towed with. See the guide linked above.
How many miles do Super Swampers last?
They're mud-terrains, so tread life trails a highway all-terrain — and street miles, air pressure and rotation matter more than the model. Radials generally outlast bias on pavement.
What's the difference between TSL, Bogger, IROK, Thornbird and Swamp Lite?
TSL is the classic three-stage-lug tread; Bogger is its deepest, most aggressive version; IROK balances trail and street; Thornbird is a directional trail tread; Swamp Lite is the lighter, street-friendlier option.
What's the biggest Super Swamper you carry?

Can I get the competition / sticky compound?
