The Interco Tire Super Swamper SX2 is a bias ply tire that is built for serious off-roading. The tread on the SX2 features a distinctive chevron tread design and the patented Three-Stage tread design. The lugs are siped for better grip and traction in various off-road situations. The 4 or 6 ply sidewall (depending on the size of the tire) of the SX2 is designed for extreme protection as well as wrap-a-round lugs for added traction when climbing out of rut or in deep mud.
The bias ply nylon design, while creating an exceptionally tough off-road tire, leaves a little to be desired for street use. The SX2's are not the best choice if you are looking for a smooth riding street tire. If you are looking for a great off-road tire that will get you back and forth to your favorite off-roading spot, the SX2 will work great for you.
